What We Do

Our job as a church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.  Our job as Christians is to live a life that reflects the life of Christ, striving to love God and our neighbors in all that we say and do.  We come together from different places and backgrounds, each bringing the gifts with which God has blessed us.

We strive to be a welcoming place with open hearts, open minds, and open doors. Every child of God is welcome in this place and encouraged to continue to grow in their faith.  We gather together to worship, to learn, to grow, and to serve.  We have two services of worship every Sunday morning, along with Christian education classes for every age level.  Our small-group ministry is beginning to take shape, and there are a wide variety of options for service inside and outside the church building.

Our "Little Food Pantry" is available 24/7 for anyone who is in need.  In addition, we work with neighboring churches to keep the community hygiene pantry stocked.  Each month we collect a different item for our monthly mission, and seek other opportunities to help out through the year, like the annual Christmas Store held at the Fillmore County Fairgrounds.  God’s work is never done – and we welcome you to join us as we work to bring God’s kingdom on Earth, as it is in heaven.

Our monthly newsletter is called the Bright Side Beacon.
